Professor and researcher at the University of Barcelona, specializing in videogames, digital culture, and artificial intelligence. With a PhD in Multimedia Engineering, my work explores how interactive media and emerging technologies reshape education, communication, and creative industries.

Throughout my career, I have participated in national and European-funded research projects, contributing to innovative approaches in game-based learning, user experience, and digital transformation. My work bridges academia, industry, and public institutions, fostering collaboration across Europe and Latin America.

I am co-founder of the Digital Games Research Association Mexico Chapter (DiGRA MX), where I contribute to building international research networks in game studies and digital culture. I also serve as an external evaluator for research and accreditation agencies, supporting quality assurance and innovation assessment in higher education.

As a Women in Games Ambassador, I actively promote gender equity in the videogame and technology sectors. Beyond advocacy, I have designed and led conferences, academic panels, and cross-sector initiatives aimed at increasing women’s visibility, leadership, and participation in gaming and digital industries. My commitment is not only to representation, but to strengthening inclusive innovation ecosystems where research, creativity, and diversity drive sustainable growth.
