STEM WOMEN CONGRESS SÃO PAULO 2026
Held on August 19 at FECAP in São Paulo, the second edition of STEM Women Congress São Paulo welcomed 317 attendees in person and reached around 600 people online, bringing together more than 900 participants across both formats.
On August 19, 2026, São Paulo once again became a meeting point for Brazil’s STEM ecosystem as the second edition of STEM Women Congress São Paulo took place at FECAP – Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado, in the Liberdade district.
The event brought together 317 participants onsite, while approximately 600 people followed the programme online, extending the reach of the Congress well beyond the venue and confirming the growing momentum of the STEM Women community in Brazil.
Professionals, executives, academics, students, organizations, ambassadors and members of the wider STEM ecosystem came together for a full day of conversations, insights and connections focused on one shared challenge: how to accelerate women’s participation, visibility and leadership across science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The programme combined talks, panel discussions, initiatives and recognition of women and organizations contributing to change across the Brazilian STEM landscape.
Beyond the individual sessions, the Congress created a space where professionals from different generations, sectors and areas of expertise could meet, exchange perspectives and build new collaborations.
This ability to bring together talent, companies, institutions, education and social impact initiatives in the same spaceis central to the STEM Women Congress model.
The second São Paulo edition demonstrated that the conversation around women in STEM is no longer limited to awareness. It is increasingly about building the networks, evidence and practical collaborations needed to achieve measurable progress.
Data also played an important role in this year’s edition through the SWAR Brazil 2026 – STEM Women Annual Report.
The report provides a data-driven view of the Brazilian ecosystem by mapping initiatives, identifying trends and helping to understand both the progress achieved and the gaps that still need to be addressed.
By connecting the evidence generated through SWAR with the companies, institutions, professionals and initiatives represented at the Congress, STEM Women Congress seeks to move the conversation from visibility to action and from individual efforts to collective impact.
The combination of 317 onsite attendees and around 600 online participants gave the second São Paulo edition a total reach of more than 900 people.
For STEM Women Congress, these numbers represent more than attendance. They reflect a growing community of people and organizations willing to participate actively in building a STEM ecosystem where women have greater opportunities to enter, progress and lead.
The organization thanks all the speakers, ambassadors, sponsors, partners, participating organizations and attendeeswhose involvement made this second edition possible, as well as FECAP for hosting the Congress in São Paulo.
The end of the event does not mean the end of its content or impact. The community can continue exploring the second edition through its photographs, recorded sessions and the new SWAR Brazil report.
