“Naval Engineer, I specialized in ship design and have worked in the shipbuilding industry and maritime transport; I have also been an entrepreneur in the microelectronics and IT sector. I hold a PhD in Information Science and a Master’s in Public Administration. I have taught in higher education and retired from the Production Engineering in Culture program at UNIRIO, the university where I continue to work as a postgraduate professor (PPGB/Unirio). In professional and union activities, I serve as President of the Board of Directors of ABEA (2023–2025) and Vice President of “Engineering for Democracy” since 2023. I have been a Council Member of CREA-RJ for four terms (1983–1986; 2016–2018; 2019–2021; and 2025–2027), having coordinated CEEM and the Education Commission, and served as a Director in 1985—a position I resumed in 2025. This year, I took over as Head of the Industrial Engineering Division of the Engineering Club of Brazil.“
