ABOUT ME

I am a postdoctoral astrophysicist working on the atmospheric dynamics of exoplanets using advanced numerical simulations. My research focuses on global circulation models (GCMs) of atmospheres across a wide range of planetary regimes, with particular emphasis on understanding global circulation patterns, including superrotation and large-scale energy transport.

I am especially interested in how different physical processes, such as radiation, atmospheric dynamics, and magnetic fields, interact to shape atmospheric structures. My work includes the study of turbulence and instabilities and their role in energy dissipation, as well as the characterisation of circulation regimes in different types of exoplanets, including Hycean worlds and hot Jupiters.

I completed my PhD at the Institut de Ciències de l’Espai (ICE-CSIC), where I specialised in magnetohydrodynamic processes in exoplanet atmospheres, particularly in hot Jupiter systems, developing numerical and theoretical models to study the impact of magnetic fields on atmospheric circulation.

My work has been recognised with the DonaTIC 2024 Award (Aerospace Mention) and the “Inspiración al Talento Emergente” Award, Women Approved 2025.

In addition to my research, I have been actively involved in the space community. I have been part of Women in Aerospace Barcelona (WIA Barcelona), and within the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) I served as co-lead of the Planetary Science Group in the Space Exploration, as well as organising events in Spain aimed at promoting the space sector, fostering collaboration, and supporting young professionals.

I also contribute to the international planetary science community through collaborations, conference organisation, mentoring, and science communication, promoting wider participation in STEM.
