“My name is Eugenia Silva Santiago, and I am reaching out to introduce myself and express my interest in becoming part of the STEM Women community.

I am an architect specialized in facility and project management, with over 15 years of experience in the design, planning, and maintenance of infrastructure in both the public and private sectors. I currently serve as the Head of Facility Management at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Barcelona, where I lead the team responsible for building operations, coordination of renovations and scientific investments, and strategic projects such as the BIST – Mercat del Peix.

I am convinced that the STEM Women network offers an enriching environment to share experiences, highlight female role models, and generate valuable synergies. Being part of this group would allow me to continue growing professionally and to contribute to its goals through my area of expertise.

Additionally, I am particularly excited about the possibility of the next congress being held in Barcelona. The city boasts a vibrant scientific and technological ecosystem, in which I actively participate, and I believe it would be an ideal setting to host an event of this magnitude.
