What is being done to motivate female talent in the STEM field in the world?

Girls In IT

As a global leader in IT services, DXC recognizes that fostering STEM skills is essential to driving innovation, empowering individuals, and addressing the challenges of today’s digital world. The Girls in IT initiative, launched in 2017, was created to meet the IT industry’s need for a more diverse talent pool by increasing female representation in technology.

Over the past seven years, DXC Brazil has directly impacted the lives of 140 young women through the program, which promotes social inclusion by offering technical and professional development opportunities. These include mentorship sessions with DXC’s female leadership team, English classes throughout the course, and workshops with leaders from DXC’s technical areas.

Targeting girls aged 17 to 21 from public schools, Girls in IT sparks curiosity and interest in technology careers for those who often lack financial support or encouragement to pursue higher education.
