Proyecto Acuática promotes interest in science, technology, marine conservation, and science communication among children and teenagers, especially in school and rural settings. Through its program Charlas El Océano—globally awarded with the OceanLove Innovation Award and endorsed by the United Nations as an innovative idea—and platforms on YouTube and Instagram such as Más Guardianes Acuáticos, Misión Kraken, Convención de Tiburones, and Guardianes en Vivo, it has inspired hundreds of girls to see themselves as future scientists, biologists, engineers, and ocean advocates.
