What began almost by chance from an article listing “150 women to follow in innovation and startups” evolved into a vibrant community of nearly 2,000 women—ranging from managers and activists to researchers—committed to advancing female leadership across sectors.

The initiative fosters visibility for diverse female role models by chronicling their journeys through articles, interviews, profiles, and guest contributions across varied topics—from lifestyle and tech to impact and education.

Unstoppable Women also serves as a real-time observatory: in 2025, StartupItalia updated the list to reflect rising female figures, such as Mirta Michilli—underscoring the ongoing drive for gender equality, especially in fields like STEM, where Italy still lags behind global parity benchmarks.
