Meninas na Ciência aims to stimulate the interest of girls and women in sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), encouraging them to pursue and remain in scientific professions and careers. The project was created in 2020 and involves the participation of university professors, school teachers, as well as high school, graduate, and undergraduate students who develop a series of activities, including scientific dissemination, combating prejudice and stereotypes related to the presence of women in science, developing scientific practices with students at all levels, visiting research laboratories, and participating in lectures with women scientists.
